Cropped clothing is a tricky one, it can very easily just look like your clothing is too small.. so for boys, if you want to wear a cropped top, we would recommend wearing high waisted trousers to avoid looking like the Fresh Prince of Bel air. The A-Line skirt has been really popular recently thanks to the new silhouettes being introduced by Nicholas Ghesquière at Louis Vuitton, and has been interpreted by loads of high street brands.

JOIN THE NAVY
Navy is an incredibly versatile colour, it can be warn with everything (yes including black) and looks great in the summer and in the winter. Navy jumpers are a great go to. We have always loved the collaborations between Comme des Garçons and Converse and Max is bringing back the Mandal...

SEEING RED
We are often accused of wearing too much black so we decided it was time to incorporate some colour into our wardrobes, and we chose red. Leather jackets go with everything, they are a great investment as they are totally trans-seasonal and look great all year round.

GARDEN PARTY
We find that Summer can be a lot more complicated to dress for Winter. We love layering, which in the heat can sometimes be a bit of a nuisance. Here, for a garden party in Notting Hill, Max replaced a jumper with a t-shirt which meant that he did not have to sacrifice on layering.

DRINKS PARTY
For Cocktail parties "Smart Casual" is often the dress code which, being an oxymoron, is not very explanatory. Both looks worn to a drinks party hosted by friends of ours were deliberately, but easily, toned down. In Eleanor's case by simply replacing heels with flats, and in Max's case by replacing suit trousers with a pair of jeans.

LEOPARD AND LEATHER
Portobello is one of our favourite places in London; there are delicious restaurants, fun shops and amazing places to grab a coffee or a drink. Portobello is also a great place for people watching as it is always full of different and inspiring characters. For this look Eleanor mixed two of our favourite trends, Leopard and Leather. Leopard is easiest to incorporate into an outfit if the rest of the look is plain, however if you are feeling brave, mixing it up with clashing prints can also also look really cool.

DOUBLE DENIM
Double Denim is a look that always raises a few eyebrows, but when done right, we think it can look pretty cool. Try and make sure your denim is all a slightly different shade to avoid looking too matchy. We went for double denim on a recent shopping trip round Notting Hill.

FRINGE AND FLARES
The 70's have been a huge trend for the last couple of seasons, we have seen countless interpretations of fringing, flares, suede and floppy hats. It is a very easy trend to pull off when used as inspiration but be careful of wearing top to toe 70's pieces to avoid looking over the top.

SAINT LAURENT
Hedi Slimane has done an incredible job of turning Saint Laurent into one of the most desirable and lusted after brands in the industry. Although the price tags are enormous, the aesthetic is often quite easy to mimic, here we tried to create our own version of most of the simpler looks presented by Mr Slimane.
